arrived timely and was able to cut the length I needed and have extra for the next project.I received this promptly. It's key stock. It does what all key stock does. I got this 12" stick for about the same price as 3-2inch pieces would have cost me. With this I could cut the exact length I wanted.Can't commend on accuracy down the 'thousand mark (I'm not a machinist) but it seems even and is plenty hard. I'm happy.Weird size for a key but I needed this size for a project. Worked good for me.I cut in into replacement vice jaws. It accepts heat treating well.This is a simple keystock for a good price. I used more than half of it for my purposes. I'll see if it holds the torque i put on itFits axel key.It measured slightly over nominal size, but was within .001”. I used it to make these small hold down clamps for a small toolmakers vice.almost exactly quite unlike other pieces of any material that is not steel, especially those pieces of different dimensions. Far more rigid than compressed Gypsum, and definitely not painted orange and pink!It was delivered ahead of promised date, packed securely. it tries to hide but has been unable to disappear up to the present!Nice cold rolled steel, accurate sizing.
